  1. 01Smart city concepts, domains and architectures
  2. 02Urban data sources: IoT sensors, GPS traces, mobile network data, satellite imagery, open city data
  3. 03IoT fundamentals for urban sensing: devices, gateways, protocols (MQTT, LoRaWAN) and edge computing
  4. 04Geospatial data: coordinate systems, vector and raster data, GeoJSON and shapefiles
  5. 05Spatial analysis: geocoding, spatial joins, buffers, density and hotspot analysis
  6. 06Mobility and transport analytics: origin–destination matrices, traffic flow, route optimisation
  7. 07Urban applications: energy, waste, water, public safety, health and environmental monitoring
  8. 08Real-time dashboards and decision support for city administration
  9. 09Challenges in the Nigerian context: data scarcity, informal settlements, infrastructure and surveillance ethics
