How to pass UUY-DTS 323

  • Pick a topic narrow enough to cover properly — "AI in healthcare" is a book; "deep learning for malaria diagnosis from blood smear images" is a seminar
  • Read 15–20 papers but present the synthesis, not the list. A literature review that goes "Paper A said…, Paper B said…" scores poorly
  • Use a reference manager from your first paper; reformatting 30 citations by hand is a self-inflicted wound
  • Rehearse out loud with a timer at least three times. The questions afterwards are where marks are won and lost — prepare for the obvious ones
