  1. 01Fundamentals of computer networks: LAN/MAN/WAN, Internet, Intranet, Extranet
  2. 02Network topology, devices, and modes of data transmission
  3. 03Network architecture: peer-to-peer, client-server, WLAN and IEEE standards
  4. 04OSI reference model and TCP/IP protocol suite; physical and link layer functionalities
  5. 05LAN technologies: Ethernet, Token Ring, multiple access schemes (CSMA/CD, CSMA/CA), MAC addressing
  6. 06Network layer: IP, ARP, ICMP; IPv4 addressing and subnetting; routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP)
  7. 07Transport layer: UDP and TCP, ports and sockets, connection establishment, flow/congestion control
  8. 08Application layer protocols (HTTP, FTP, DNS, SMTP, TELNET) and IPv6 transition
